What is our Gantry Scanner System?
The Gantry Scanner is another type of scanner to address our customer’s challenges. The more commonly used scanner is a hand held type which requires an operator to scan the tags manually. But for customers that wants automated scanning of vehicle leaving or entering with tagged items, the gantry scanner will be chosen and place at the entry and exit point storage area. It act similarly for vehicle check points that utilise a gantry.
Challenges
- The need to deploy manpower to do manual counting of stocks that enters, or exits storage location
- Difficulty of tracking the trailer movement route and delivery time
Solution to Challenges
- Assets affixed with GoTagID RFID tags, can have critical data and asset location detected by the gantry systems
